My vision of the Future:
It is as new morning air following a rain shower clean and crisp and promising. It is like adolescent laughter resonating in green areas. It is odoured of decayed earth and blossoming trees. Homegrown mangoes are homely tasting. It appears to be a litter-free streets full of intent and serenity
We did it! Young people in Mombasa organized themselves in a move to sweep our streets, collect our trash, and bring honor to our streets. Our Meetups became national campaigns. Garbage became a resource. And, now our communities are relieved of a burden, literally and emotionally.
