My vision of the Future:
The water level has risen, a lot of reclaimed land has been given back to the sea and now forms the bed for new coral reefs. Divers like to visit and dive the wreck of old apartment building and malls. Many waterfalls have had passive power dynamos fitted.
With most streets flooded inter district transport is done mostly by small boat. I just converted my canoe so I can use my recumbent bike to propel through the water. When I get back to land I can then take the bike out and use it to get around.
